Production Stage Manager (Il Turco in Italia)

Hsiao-Fang Lin is a stage manager, producer, and arts administrator specializing in orchestral, operatic, and cross-cultural productions. Since 2015, she has served as Orchestra Manager for the Bard College Conservatory of Music, overseeing artistic operations, rehearsal and performance logistics, and production coordination for large-scale orchestral projects and festivals.

Lin has served as Production Stage Manager for opera productions presented by the Bard Conservatory Graduate Vocal Arts Program at the Fisher Center at Bard, working in collaboration with the Bard Conservatory Orchestra. Productions include Orphée aux Enfers (Orpheus in the Underworld) and Amelia al Ballo / Gianni Schicchi. Her work spans rehearsal management, technical coordination, artist and crew communication, and live performance execution in collaboration with conductors, directors, designers, and production teams.

Since 2020, Lin has also served as Production Stage Manager for the annual China Now Music Festival and its associated international conferences, leading complex multidisciplinary productions featuring orchestral concerts, chamber music, lectures, opera, dance, and cross-cultural collaborations between artists and institutions from the United States and China.

Known for her calm leadership under pressure and detail-oriented production management, Lin’s work bridges artistic vision and operational execution across concert halls, theaters, festivals, and international touring projects.
