Family drama! The stories we tell ourselves about family are the most profound we know, from the myths to the movies. Opera is no different: the eternal joys and sorrows of family, community and belonging are brought to the height of expression through transcendent music. Teatro Nuovo brings the MAM community a program of operatic families -- their tears and laughter unforgettably depicted by Verdi, Wagner, Bellini, Puccini, Engelbert Humperdinck and still more!
