Tenor Matthew Greenblatt is thrilled to be singing Biondina as part of the Teatro Nuovo concert series. Most recently, Mr. Greenblatt has performed in various concerts throughout the Nashville area with his wife, Brooklyn Snow. In recent seasons, he’s performed the roles of Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods with Union Avenue Opera, Alfred in a Concert version of Die Fledermaus with Eugene Opera, Fabrizio Naccarelli in the Light in the Piazza with Opera Santa Barbara, Bastien in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne with the Midsummer Mozart Festival and the role of Tony in West Side Story with both the Northwest Indiana Symphony and New Philharmonic Orchestra in Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Greenblatt made his Carnegie Hall debut as an Emerging Artist Soloist with Choirs of America. In the 2026 season, he will perform the role of Frank Shallad in Elmer Gantry with Opera Santa Barbara. Mr. Greenblatt was a studio artist with Opera Santa Barbara and an apprentice artist with Palm Beach Opera. He received his BM from the University of Michigan and MM from Mannes. He was also a finalist in the New York International Vocal Competition. Mr. Greenblatt and Ms. Snow reside in Nashville with their two daughters.
