Praised for her “remarkably beautiful soprano voice and stunning combination of vocal athleticism and theatrical smarts,” soprano Brooklyn Snow has delighted audiences with her exceptional performances in both opera and musical theater. She is excited to be part of this concert series with Teatro Nuovo for the Italian Consulate. This season, Ms. Snow sang Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady with Union Avenue Opera, Adina in L’elisir D’amore with Southern Illinois Music Festival and performed in several concerts throughout the US with her husband, Matthew Greenblatt. In previous seasons, Ms. Snow has sung Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro with SIMF, Adele in Die Fledermaus with Eugene Opera, Musetta in La Bohème with Opera Santa Barbara, Maria in West Side Story with the New Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Chicago, Bastienne in Mozart’s Bastienne und Bastien with the Midsummer Mozart Festival, and Cunegonde in Candide, Nanetta in Falstaff, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Anne in ALNM, and Olympia/Giulietta/Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann all with Union Avenue Opera. She made her debut at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall as the Soprano Soloist for the premiere of Dan Forrest’s piece, Jubilate Deo and also at Carnegie Hall as an Emerging Artist Soloist with Choirs of America. In the 2026 season, she will perform the role of Lulu in Elmer Gantry with Opera Santa Barbara. Ms. Snow received her BA from the University of Oregon and MM from Indiana University.
